3DVista – Panoramas – Settings
In 3DVista, the “Panoramas” section includes various settings that allow you to customize and configure each panorama in your virtual tour project. By accessing the settings for each panorama, you can modify properties like initial view, GPS location, and more.
To access the settings for a panorama in 3DVista, follow these steps:
1. Launch 3DVista and open your virtual tour project.
2. In the toolbar at the top of the main window, click on “Panoramas” to open the “Panoramas” section.
3. In the list of panoramas, click on the panorama for which you want to adjust settings.
4. Click on the “Properties” icon, which looks like a gear or cog, to open the settings for the selected panorama.
Once you have opened the settings for a panorama, you can modify various properties, such as:
• Initial View: Set the initial view for the panorama by adjusting the yaw, pitch, and field of view (FOV) values. This will determine what the viewer sees when the panorama is first loaded.
• GPS Location: Define the GPS coordinates for the panorama by entering the latitude and longitude values. This can be useful for geolocating your panoramas or creating map-based virtual tours.
• Auto Rotation: Enable or disable automatic rotation of the panorama and adjust the rotation speed and direction.
• Background Sound: Add background audio to your panorama by selecting an audio file from your computer or importing it from the 3DVista library.
• Media Properties: Edit various media properties such as image quality, compression settings, and output format.
By accessing and adjusting the settings for each panorama in your 3DVista virtual tour project, you can create a more immersive and personalized experience for your viewers. These settings enable you to fine-tune the appearance, behavior, and location information of your panoramas to suit your project’s specific needs.
